What is ASDE

ASDE is an international organisation highly specialized in European Commission projects devoted to fostering and supporting International organisations of development, NGOs, community-based organisations and other civil society movements who are working in the habitat, environment and rural integrated development sectors.

Objectives

To support, strengthen and promote initiatives on:

  • Improvement of habitat conditions with emphasis on land access and housing, water and sanitation, and waste treatment.

  • Fostering sustainable rural integrated development.

To provide training for European Commission project management.

Actions

  • To act as promoter and pillar for the development and strengthening of partnerships, consortia and south-south, north-south and south-north exchanges and networks.

To act as a promoter and supporter for the development and fostering of partnerships, associations, exchanges, and south-south, north-south, and south-north networks.

  • To channel and organise training and technical-financial assistance for housing, environmental and integrated rural development projects.

To organize and streamline the training and technical and financial assistance for habitat, environmental, and sustainable development projects.

  • To facilitate access to international and local funding for NGOs, community-based organisations and other social organisations.

To facilitate access to international and local NGO funding.

Along with our Southern and Northern partners, ASDE acts as promoter and pillar for projects and programmes by:
