Training and Advice 2004

ASDE promotes goal identification workshops that in a informal, dynamic, and participative way help plan different complex aspects of the institutional work not only in institutions of developed countries but also institutions in developing countries.

These workshops are carried out in situ and use a participatory methodology. They are conducted jointly with all the organizations involved in the project, thus ensuring that the formulation of the project includes exhaustive information on local reality.

Technical and financial assistance

ASDE is an institution specialized in development projects with largely experienced professionals in the NGO cofinancing budget line of the European Commission (B76000 and Bilateral Cooperation B76200). ASDE also offers technical and financial assistance to international institutions, particularly regarding housing and infrastructure projects.

From February 25 to March 03, 2004 a planning participatory workshop on projects in execution and on new projects was held in Stuttgart.

From January 18 to 24, 2004, in Chimaltenago (Guatemala) we carried out the final monitoring visit to the project  "Fortalecimiento técnico y organizativo de programas comunitarios de salud alternativa y preventiva en Guatemala",  which is cofinanced by the European Commission, coordinated by the German organization KATE and implemented by Asociación de Servicios comunitarios de Salud (ASECSA)

From January 24 to 3,  2003 was held the final monitoring visit to the project  "Fortalecimiento del sistema de salud comunitario en 45 comunidades de Nicaragua", which is cofinanced by the European Commission, coordinated by the German organization Brot fur die Welt  and implemented by  Acción Medica Cristiana (AMC).

From April 17 to 26  in Quito, Ecuador, was carried out the third monitoring visit  and from  July 03 to 16, 2004, the fourth one to the binational project Perú-Ecuador "Paso a paso", cofinanced by the European Union, coordinated by the German organization  KATE and implemented by DESCO from Perú and  CIUDAD from Ecuador.

From April  27 to May  01,  2004, in Quito Ecuador, was held a visit due to the beggining of the project  "Fortalecimiento de la vigencia de los derechos humanos de las mujeres para una vida libre de violencia", cofinanced by the European Commission, coordinated by the German organization Brot fur die Welt  and implemented by the Centro Ecuatoriano para la Promoción y Acción de la Mujer, CEPAM from Ecuador.

From May 05 to 07 and May 16 to 20, 2004, in Stuttgart, Germany, was carried out a technical assistence  to the institution KATE about several projects actually implemented or to be present to the European Commission.

From May 28 to 30, 2004 in Soria, Spain, was held a workshop "Líneas de financiación de la UE en cooperación al desarrollo" to the organization  Cives Mundi and with the participation of several members of Spanish NGOs.

From June  5 to 16, 2004 in Manila, Philippines, was carried out the final monitoring visit to the project "Habitat Community Partnership Program" cofinanced by the European Commission, coordinated by the German organization  KATE, HFH Netherlands and HFH Hungary and implemented by  HFH Philippines Foundation.

From June 26 to July 03, 2004, in Concepción, Chile, was held the closing mission of the project  "Transición a un modelo de cuidad sustentable: Desarrollo local, articulación institucional y sustentabilidad en la región del Bio-Bio, Chile" cofinanced by the European Commission, coordinated by the German organization Brot fur die Welt and implemeted by CET, Centro de Educación y Tecnología from Chile.

From Agust 25 to 28,2004 in Soria, Spain, was carried out a visit in order to prepare the project  "Pata Pata Chotano" coordinated by the organization Cives Mundi.

From December 06 to 11, 2004 in Soria, Spain, was held a visit in order to identify news strategies to work together with the organization  Cives Mundi.
