Training and Advice 2006

ASDE promotes goal identification workshops that in a informal, dynamic, and participative way help plan different complex aspects of the institutional work not only in institutions of developed countries but also institutions in developing countries.

These workshops are carried out in situ and use a participatory methodology. They are conducted jointly with all the organizations involved in the project, thus ensuring that the formulation of the project includes exhaustive information on local reality.

Monitoring, Evaluation and Technical, financial assistance

ASDE is an institution specialized in development projects with largely experienced professionals in the European Commission main budgetlines (e.g. 21-02-03). ASDE also offers technical and financial assistance to international development institutions.

From March 23^rd to 24^th 2006 was held a strategic planning participatory workshop on SWOT Analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) for Cives Mundi.

From January 9^th to 13^th 2006  in Stuttgart, Germany, together with KATE, was carried out several meetings and working sessions in order to identify new african projects for the German organisation Brot für die Welt (BfdW).

From February 1^st to 9^th 2006, in Moundou, Chad, was carried out the kick-off workshop of project "Renforcer les capacités de la société civile ŕ gérer des conflits et cultiver la paix dans 15 départements du Tchad". This project is cofinanced by the European Commission, coordinated by the German organization Brot für die Welt (BfdW) and implemented by the Association Tchadienne pour la Non-Violence (ATNV).

From February 25^th to March 07^th , 2006  in Stuttgart, Germany, together with KATE, was carried out several working sessions in order to finalise several project applications of Brot für die Welt (BfdW), in Africa to be presented to EU

A kick-off workshop of the "Capacity building for sustainable livehood in 4 districts of Kibungo province" project was carried out from Abril 19^th to 22^nd 2006, in Kibungo, Rwanda. This project is cofinanced by the European Commission, coordinated by the German organization Brot für die Welt  and implemented by the Lutheran World Federation Programme Rwanda (LWF).

From June 29th to July 5th 2006, the first half-year monitoring visit of the "Renforcer les capacités de la société civile ŕ gérer des conflits et cultiver la paix dans 15 départements du Tchad" project was carried out in Moundou, Chad. This project is cofinanced by the European Commission, coordinated by the German organization Brot für die Welt (BfdW) and implemented by the Association Tchadienne por la Non-Violence (ATNV).

Quito, Cuenca y Esmeralda, Ecuador

From July 17th until July 26th, 2006, the second monitoring visit was made for the "Fortalecimiento de la vigencia de los derechos humanos de las mujeres para una vida libre de violencia" project in Ecuador. This project is cofinanced by the European Commission and coordinated by the German organization Brot für die Welt (BfdW)  and executed by the Centro Ecuatoriano para la Promoción y Acción de la Mujer (CEPAM).

From June 27th to 29th 2006, the first ex-post evaluation of the "Paso a Paso" project was carried out in Ecuador. This project is cofinanced by the European Commission, coordinated by the German organization KATE and implemented by the Peruvian organization, DESCO and the Ecuadorian organization, CIUDAD.

On October 10th, 2006 the first external evaluation of the "deSOLaSOL" project was carried out in Portugal. It is cofinanced by the European Commission, coordinated by the Spanish organization Fundación Ecología y Desarrollo (ECODES) and executed by Ecovision of Germany, HESPUL and La Nef of France, AFLOPS of Portugal, Cives Mundi, AVENIA, and TRIODOS Bank of Spain.
 

From December 6th to 8th 2006, the preparation visit for the annual monitoring of the "Renforcer les capacités de la société civile ŕ gérer des conflits et cultiver la paix dans 15 départements du Tchad" project was carried out in Moundou, Chad. Madrid, SPAIN

The 30^eth March 2006 in Madrid, Spain, Cives Mundi together with ASDE participated in a meeting with Asia representatives of AECI Spanish Agency for International Cooperation, to explore ways of collaboration in Vietnam, Bangladesh, Philippines and Cambodia

Soria, SPAIN

From May 5^th to 7^th 2006 in Valdeavellano, Soria, Spain, ASDE carried out the seminar “Financing budget lines and cycle of project in cooperation to the development for the European Commission" organized by CIVES MUNDI and with the participation of more than 60 Spanish and foreign NGOs managers and technicians (professionals and volunteers).

From May 19^th to 20^th 2006 in Soria, Spain, was celebrated the ECOMAGREB 2006, an International Forum on environment and sustainable development in the Magreb. This event was organized by CIVES MUNDI and co-organized by ASDE and with the participation of more than 70 Spanish and foreign NGOs representatives.

On June 3^rd 2006 in Valencia, Spain, ASDE carried out a presentation "Housing and Habitat" in the framework of the didactic block “Technologies, infrastructure and development” of the Cooperation to the Development Interuniversitario Course organized by the  Polytechnical University of Valencia.
